I’m not the type to ask for help (especially monetary donations), but please, our Filipino brothers and sisters need help. They need food, clothing and clean water among other things. Please help out by sending those basic needs and/or monetary donations through proper channels.

It was Toucan International Market. As I got in, I was greeted by the nice lady making a turn from an aisle going to the cashier’s counter. It turns out, she’s the owner of the store and her name is Jeanette Wyatt. (She’s Filipina like me! YAY! It’s a relief to know that there’s a bunch of Filipinos out here in North Dakota and I actually met one.) I’ve met her before when my husband and I dropped by her store a few weeks ago to check out the Filipino products that they are selling.
