IMPORTANT: THE ARTICLE AND DATES BELOW ARE FOR THE 2015 PHILIPPINE CONSULAR OUTREACH IN THE UNITED STATES.

If you’re a Filipino Citizen residing in the United States, the Philippine Embassy and Consulates in the U.S. conduct annual Consular Outreaches in select cities in order to provide consular services such as passport renewal, civil registry (Report of Marriage, Report of Birth Abroad), re-acquisition of Philippine Citizenship and overseas absentee voting registration among other things. Filipinos are required to make personal appearances for some of these consular services such as passport renewal and voter’s registration. That is why these outreaches are extremely convenient for Filipino Citizens who reside in a state / place that is far from their designated consulates.

I’ve tried to gather all the information I can find on each Philippine Consulate, from their websites and Facebook Pages and you can see the schedules below.

Please note that some of these schedules are tentative and might change. Make sure you follow each Philippine Consulates’ websites and Facebook Pages for updated information. This list was compiled today, March 15th, 2015.

Another important thing to note is that before showing up for a Consular Outreach, you would have to set an appointment and/or send information and forms in advance for them to be able to provide services for you in a timely and orderly fashion. Contact the Philippine Consulate that has jurisdiction over your state for more information.

***Note: This applies to ALL Philippine Passport holders. If you are a Permanent Resident / Green Card Holder, that means you’re still a Filipino Citizen. Having a “Green Card” doesn’t automatically make you a U.S. Citizen. The only time that this will not apply to you is when you already have renounced your Filipino Citizenship and have acquired American Citizenship through the Naturalization process.***

Important Note from the Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C.: Advance request for appointment by phone or by e-mail in the Embassy’s e-mail address will not yet be entertained at this time. Applicants are advised to wait for the corresponding Press Release for each consular outreach. The Embassy will be announcing in its Press Release the exact venue of the consular outreach as well as the detailed instructions on how to secure an appointment.

Important Note from the Philippine Consulate General of Los Angeles:  Submission of applications will be accepted only upon announcement of appointment scheduling procedures for each consular outreach schedule, one (1) month before the listed consular outreach program.

The Philippine Consulate will issue separate Press Releases one (1) month before a scheduled Consular Outreach, once arrangements have been finalized and confirmed to start Appointment Scheduling process.

Submission of applications with complete attachments only strictly thru designated emails and in PDF format. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
